The short version
We don't ask for an account, don't sell your data, and only keep what the site needs to work: an essential session cookie, small bits of browser storage (your player name, favorites, recent games), and the scores/comments you choose to publish. Games and (if enabled) ads are embedded from other companies, which may use their own cookies.
Cookies we set
- Session cookie (
PHPSESSID) — essential. Keeps security tokens (forms, admin login) working while you browse. It contains no personal data, expires when you close the browser session, and is marked HttpOnly (JavaScript cannot read it).
Browser storage we use
Instead of cookies, this site remembers a few things in your browser's local storage (stored only on your device):
lc_player— the player name you type when submitting a score, so you don't have to retype it next time.lc_favs— games you marked as favorites.lc_recent— games you recently played (for the "recently played" rail).lc_cookie_ok— remembers that you dismissed this site's cookie notice.
You can clear all of this anytime from your browser settings; the site keeps working, you just lose those conveniences.
Information you publish
- Scores — your chosen name and score are stored on our server and shown publicly on per-game leaderboards and the site leaderboard. Use a nickname you're comfortable seeing in public.
- Ratings & comments — your chosen name plus your rating/comment text are stored and shown publicly on the game page.
- Play counts — we count how many times each game page is opened. This is an anonymous counter; it is not linked to you.
Technical data
Like most websites, the server may temporarily process your IP address for rate-limiting (anti-abuse) and standard security logging. Rate-limiting records are short-lived and are keyed by a one-way hash, not stored as personal profiles.
Embedded games & third parties
Games are played inside embedded players served directly from their creators' hosts. When a game loads, that third party may set its own cookies or collect data under its own privacy policy — we don't control that. If ad slots are enabled on the site, the advertising network (e.g., Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads; you can manage personalized ads through your Google Ads Settings or the network's opt-out tools.
Children
The site is suitable for general audiences. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data (for example, in a comment), contact us and we'll remove it.
Your choices
- Use any nickname (or none of your real details) when submitting scores or comments.
- Clear cookies and site data in your browser to remove everything stored locally.
- Browsing the catalog works without accepting anything beyond the essential session cookie.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves; the date at the top always reflects the latest revision.
